Most accurate: measure a belt you already wear —
from the prong of the buckle to the hole you actually use. That
measurement is your size.
No belt to measure? Measure around your waist where you wear the belt,
over your shirt. Order that number — not your
jeans size.
Between two sizes? Go up. You can always tighten a belt,
you can't add length.
These buckles are solid metal and substantial — the buckle takes
roughly 3.5 inches of the belt length shown above.
Wearing it low on the hips instead of at your natural waist? That sits roughly 2-3 inches wider. Measure where the belt is actually going to sit.
Belt length is the full length of the strap including
the buckle, and varies slightly between styles. Order by waist size, not by
belt length.
