Ordered this to go with a belt I bought here a while back and the tones line up almost exactly, which honestly never happens when you buy two things separately. Sits right at the hip worn across the body and there are plenty of holes in the strap to get the drop where you want it. The buckle on the flap is the same style as the belt too.

The long strap comes in the box, so you can wear it across the body or just carry it by the top handles. I use the strap for errands and the handles when I am out for dinner. It zips fully shut, which is what I was after, and it keeps its shape instead of folding over when I put it down. Four stars only because it is a heavier bag than it looks in the photos, and on a long day I notice it.

Wore it out for our anniversary with the hat and the boots on and I was slightly worried it would read too casual next to a sequin dress. It did not. The tan sits beautifully against brown boots and the fringe swings when you walk. My husband, who never notices these things, said it pulled the whole outfit together. Two people asked about it before we even sat down.

wore it out the night it came and then to 2 shows after that. the fringe moves when you walk which is the whole point of it, and the chain strap doesnt dig into your shoulder like i thought it would. its on the small side but my phone, cards and a lipstick fit fine and thats all i want on me at a show

I sew, so this is the stuff I check first. Even stitch length the whole way round, backstitched at every start and stop, no skipped or doubled holes. The edges are sealed and smooth instead of raw. The buckle has a warm antiqued finish rather than the bright gold you usually get at this price, and it is set dead centre on the flap. Somebody knew what they were doing.

The conchos are set flush and centered, not slapped on. Little things like that are why this looks expensive.

I use it as a small diaper bag and it has survived juice, crackers and being thrown into the footwell. Wiped clean with a damp cloth every time.

goes with jeans and a tee just as easy as it goes with a dress, didnt expect that from something this detailed

caught it on the sale and its honestly a steal at that price, wouldve been happy paying full tbh

There is a tiny bit of variation in the tooling, which to me means a person made it rather than a machine stamping thousands. Adds character.

not flawless but genuinely good for what it cost, the stitching and hardware are better than the price suggests

Reinforced where the strap meets the body, which is where every bag I have owned eventually tore. Confident this one will not.

Had a question about the strap before ordering and got an answer the same day. The bag itself is beautiful and the buckle detail is my favorite part. Great experience all round.

i swapped everything over the day it came and havent switched back once. strap sits comfy and doesnt dig in even when its full. very pleased

This is my usual deal breaker and so far so good. Still the same warm finish it came with.

Western without being a costume. That balance is really hard to find and most brands miss it in one direction or the other.

It closes securely enough, I just prefer a full zip for peace of mind in a crowd. Everything else is excellent.

You can tell where the money went. The seams are reinforced at the stress points and the base does not bow out when it is full. That is usually where these go wrong.

Two months in and the corners have started to darken a little. It looks intentional, not worn out.

So many bags cut corners on the hardware and it always shows first. Here the buckles and rivets feel heavy and set properly. Nothing rattles or wobbles.

Not by much and I actually prefer it, but it is a shade deeper than the listing photos on my screen. Quality is very good.

theres a slight sheen to it that catches the light, not shiny just warm. very pretty in person

the bag itself is fine and the finish is nice but it took over 2 weeks to arrive and the tracking stopped updating for 4 days in the middle which i did not love. support did reply when i chased it

Opened the box and got that proper leather smell. It has softened up nicely over the first few weeks without losing its shape.
